oPeN DaY at CERN, (Entrada libre al CERN)

April 6th is the open day at CERN, anyone can visit the experiments of the LHC, you can find the programme here.. Besides the access, there will be talks about Particle Physics. Then, it is worth to come if you are close to Geneve. (there is not English version of the video, sorry for that).

Este 6 de abril será la última oportunidad para visitar el LHC y sus detectores, así que si se encuntran cerca de Ginebra, no caería mal que se dieran una vuelta. De acuerdo al mapa son 10 instalaciones las que podrán visitar dentro de un círculo de 27km de perímetro, :D, así que será indispensable traer auto, el horario y las indicaciones para visitarlo las pueden econtrar aquí

Además de poder visitar las intalaciones, habrá pláticas y toda clase de información sobre física de partículas, haha, y el video que les dejo que muy ad hoc, con el post, hahahaha.

I use to look at the Nasa's Image of day Galery, and there are a lot of beautiful images, I keep the ones I like the best, and these ones impressed me a lot.

De verdad que me reí mucho con esto... para los que no estan familiarizados con el lugar. El video esta tomado en Xochimilco, en el área de canales, cerca del D.F. (o ciudad de México), en este lugar las familias suelen ir con el propósito de rentar una trajinera o chalupa, especie de bote, con o sin música y comida.

This video made me laugh a lot, I almost see DiCaprio there, hahaha, it is in Xochimilco, in the area of canals, near to Mexico City. People use to go there to rent a chalupa or trajinera, like a bote, with or without music or food.
